Kevin Corcoran

WAILEA, Hawaii — Kevin J. Corcoran, COE, CPC, CPMA, FNAO, gave his annual whirlwind tour of changes in coding, regulatory, payment, administrative and quality payment programs here at Hawaiian Eye 2018. His efforts were rewarded with being named Speaker of the Day for Sunday’s “Changing Ophthalmic Practice Environment” program.

Hawaiian Eye 2018 kicked off on Saturday with presentations on functional eyelid surgery and aesthetics procedures moderated by Wendy W. Lee, MD.

Lee was named Saturday’s Speaker of the Day.

“We want to congratulate Wendy Lee who was yesterday’s Speaker of the Day and who was certainly challenged yesterday,” said Richard L. Lindstrom, MD, Hawaiian Eye program chair, on Sunday alluding to Saturday’s mistaken missile alert.. – by Joan-Marie Stiglich, ELS
