NEW YORK ― At OSN New York 2017, Cynthia A. Matossian, MD, said that it is important for the surgeon to recommend a single IOL option for patients based on their visual needs when discussing cataract surgery and IOL choice. If patients are given many options, they feel overburdened and will often select the most basic IOL.
