LISBON, Portugal ― At the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons meeting here, I. Paul Singh, MD, and Roxana Fulga, MD, discuss two separate studies they performed examining laser vitreolysis for the removal of symptomatic vitreous floaters. According to both, while there is a learning curve for surgeons to learn and patient selection is important, the technology itself is safe and effective when used properly.
