Haag-Streit announced a new OCT device and an update to its EyeSuite software at the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons meeting in Lisbon, Portugal.

Eyestar 900, a swept source OCT device, delivers elevation-based topography maps of the front and back of the corneal surface for refractive, cataract and glaucoma surgeons, according to a company press release. The device is powered by EyeSuite software, allows biometry of the entire eye from the cornea to the retina, and includes IOL cataract planning software.

In addition, the EyeSuite i9 perimetry software has received an upgrade to allow users to quickly learn how to run a perimetry examination and improve usability.
