The Abbott Fund will donate $1 million in grants, health care and nutrition products to support victims of Hurricane Harvey in Texas and Louisiana, Abbott announced in a press release.

The American Red Cross, Americares and Direct Relief will see $900,000 in grants, while health care and nutrition products totaling $100,000 will be donated to relief organizations on the ground.

“Our thoughts are with everyone affected by Hurricane Harvey, and the many people and organizations working to help families in the affected communities,” Abbott chairman and CEO Miles D. White said. “Abbott and the Abbott Fund are working together with trusted relief organizations to help meet immediate needs today, and to help communities recover after the storm.”
