Imprimis Pharmaceuticals reported a net income of $1.5 million, or $0.07 per share, for the second quarter of 2017 compared with a net loss of $4.639 million, or $0.35 per share, in 2016’s second quarter.

Total revenue for the quarter increased from $4.9 million to $6.9 million, according to a company press release.

Ophthalmology-related revenue increased 70% to $4.7 million.

Selling and marketing expenses were down from $2.27 million in 2016’s second quarter to $2 million.
