Imprimis Pharmaceuticals and Precision Lens have signed an exclusive 3-year sales representation agreement, according to a press release from the organizations.

Precision Lens, which currently distributes more than 60% of the IOLs in its markets, will dedicate a sales team to Imprimis’ ophthalmic portfolio in select U.S. areas, mainly in 13 Midwest states.

The products include Dropless Therapy, LessDrops combination eye drops, Simple Drops preservative-free glaucoma drops and MKO Melt conscious sedation.

“We look forward to working with Precision Lens and believe this important relationship will increase sales productivity and strengthen our position in this important region of the country,” Mark L. Baum, CEO of Imprimis, said in the release.
