Richard L. Lindstrom

It is my pleasure to announce exciting changes to our editorial board. In an effort to continually evolve in covering ophthalmology, I met recently with the editorial team of OSN to make some significant changes to the board.

I’m proud to announce the following appointments: Elizabeth Yeu, MD, Section Editor, Cornea/External Disease; Andrew G. Lee, MD, Section Editor, Neurosciences; John P. Berdahl, MD, Section Editor, Refractive Surgery; Wendy W. Lee, MD, Section Editor, Oculoplastics and Reconstructive Surgery; and, Allison Weber Shuren, MS, JD, Section Editor, Regulatory/Legislative.

I believe that the new group of section editors, along with John A. Hovanesian, MD; Thomas W. Samuelson, MD; Andrew A. Moshfeghi, MD; Uday Devgan, MD; and William B. Trattler, MD, will all continue to help us innovate and guide the publication to even greater heights in print as well as on Healio.com/OSN.

I would like to personally thank our outgoing section editors, David Hardten, MD; Mark Levine, MD; Barrett Katz, MD; Daniel S. Durrie, MD, and Alan E. Reider, JD, for their numerous and important contributions made over the years. They have helped lead and shape the publication and online presence as we continue to grow and innovate editorially. Their leadership has been instrumental in growing OSN into the publication and strong brand it is today.

Please see a brief bio of each of our new section editors and why I believe they will make great contributions to the publication.
