Inotek Pharmaceuticals reported a net loss of $42.9 million in 2016 compared with a $68 million net loss in 2015, according to a company press release.

General and administrative costs were $9.9 million compared with $7.8 million the previous year, and research and development costs were up from $12.6 million to $32 million.

Cash and cash equivalents, including short-term investments, equaled $126.5 million at the end of the year.
