Akorn reported $1.1 billion in net revenues for 2016, an increase of $132 million, or 13%, over 2015’s net revenues of $985 million.

Fourth quarter net revenues totaled $284 million, an increase of $4 million from 2015’s fourth quarter.

GAAP net income was $32 million, or $0.26 per diluted share, in the fourth quarter compared with GAAP net income of $33 million, or $0.27 per diluted share, in the fourth quarter of 2015. For the full year, GAAP net income was $184 million, or $1.47 per diluted share, compared with GAAP net income of $151 million, or $1.22 per diluted share, in 2015.
