pSivida reported $6 million in revenue for the second fiscal quarter compared with $526,000 in the same quarter a year ago, according to a company press release.

The increase was attributed to the "recognition of deferred collaborative research and development revenue" resulting from the end of a collaboration agreement with Pfizer.

Quarterly net loss was $67,000, or break-even per share, compared with a net loss of $5.2 million, or $0.18 per share, a year ago, the release said.

Operating expenses were up from $5.8 million in the second quarter a year ago to $6.1 million.
