KOLOA, Hawaii ― Kendall E. Donaldson, MD, MS, discusses an ongoing study analyzing pupillary miosis during femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery at Hawaiian Eye 2017.
Certain patients, such as those with a lighter iris, have been shown to be more susceptible to miosis, she said, as well as those with floppy iris syndrome, a history of glaucoma or prior ocular surgery.
