AGTC reported a net income of $3.6 million in the third quarter compared with a net loss of $9.1 million in the same quarter of 2015, according to a press release.

Quarterly revenue totaled $11.8 million, an increase from $11.1 million in the second quarter of last year.

Research and development expenses were $5.6 million in the quarter, a decrease of $11.9 million from 2015, whereas general and administrative costs increased by $59,000 to $2.8 million.

AGTC’s cash, cash equivalents and investments were $166.8 million as of Sept. 30.
