Akorn reported net revenue of $284 million in the third quarter, an 11% increase from approximately $257 million in the third quarter of 2015, according to a press release.

GAAP net income was static at $48 million, or $0.38 per diluted share, compared with $48 million, or $0.39 per diluted share, a year ago.

Adjusted diluted earnings per share also stayed flat at $0.56 between the third quarter of 2015 and 2016, the release said.

Operating expenses totaled $83.4 million compared with $72.2 million in the third quarter a year ago.
