Every 2 years, the International Council of Ophthalmology arranges a big global meeting. The meeting is held in a different region of the world every time, which often translates into long-distance travel. Fortunately, the ICO records many of the sessions and publishes them online for free(!) on a dedicated website — WOC OnDemand (woc.conference2web.com).

The site already contains the sessions from this year’s meeting in Guadalajara, Mexico, which was held in early February. There are more than 250 presentations grouped into sessions, but there is no way to filter according to subspecialty, which can make it hard to find specific videos of interest. The presentations appear in a video format showing the slideshows synchronized with an audio recording of the presenter. The videos play well on both Windows and Mac as well as mobile devices. You can also find additional recordings from the 2014 meeting in Tokyo and the 2010 meeting in Berlin.

So if you did not make it to the WOC meeting in Mexico this year or if you were there but could not make it to all the sessions of interest, I encourage you to catch up on WOC OnDemand.
