The health care division of Anteis has been established and renamed Aptissen, according to a press release.

Aptissen will now focus on ophthalmology and orthopedics. It is a leading supplier of ophthalmic viscosurgical devices, and products include Optheis, OptheisBio, Methylvisc and HealaFlow. Aptissen maintains the strong values of Anteis and will continue to develop top-quality next-generation products, the release said.

“Our major goal in 2014 is to develop our very good marketing standing on the national and international stage even further. We want to improve continuously and offer our customers the best products,” Oliver Benoit, CEO of Aptissen and former managing director of the health care division of Anteis, said in the release. — by Nhu Te
