VIDEO: Surgeon presents positive study results of Mydrane ophthalmic solution
ATHENS, Greece — At the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons winter meeting, Béatrice Cochener, MD, PhD, presents results from a study of Mydrane (tropicamide 0.02%, phenylephrine 0.31%, lidocaine 1%, Théa) as a fixed dose given intracamerally before cataract surgery. The study found that the combination of mydriatic and anesthetic provided fast pupil dilation and extra comfort for the patient while avoiding toxic effects of drops on the ocular surface.
