Pavel Stodulka, MD, PhD, relates an invitation to join the ZOF, Zlin Ophthalmology Festival, live surgery broadcast on Friday, March 4, at 10.30 a.m. CET. A variety of challenging cases will be addressed using laser-assisted cataract surgery and femtosecond laser LASIK, among other techniques. Implantation of the phakic presbyopic lens IPCL (Eyeol, U.K.) will be performed for the first time, according to Stodulka. The live surgery will be broadcast from the Gemini Eye Clinic, Zlin, Czech Republic, and anyone can join at Czech Live Surgery. No password is required. Online surgical discussion of “Making impossible possible. Suturing IOL to lens capsule,” a video by Howard Gimbel, is slated to begin at 3:10 p.m. CET.
