The all new Healio.com is ready for its close-up

Dear Readers: In April 2012, we launched Healio.com – a powerful online platform for you to access clinical information both within your specialty, as well as the specialties of your peers.

Your response to the new website has been extraordinary, as has been your feedback. In the last 2 years, we compiled and categorized your comments, listened to your comments and drew from it a plan to improve Healio.com’s usability and improve your overall experience.

It is our pleasure to introduce to you the new Healio.com. Here are some new features that you asked for and that we hope you will find useful.

Not just news…resources

Clinical Resources is a new content category that launches with the new Healio.com. At your fingertips are useful resources such as In the Journals – executive summaries of the top journals in your specialty complemented by peer and key opinion leader perspectives. You’ll receive the synopsis of the journal article and the “so what factor” with each In the Journal. We have also added Guidelines and a Drug/Device Pipeline – singular locations for you to find this information that is often scattered throughout your current resources.

More relevant content

More often than not you come to Healio.com seeking out a particular feature – to read a news article, to read a peer-review journal article, participate in an educational activity, to participate in a CME activity, or to watch a video. The new Healio.com puts personalized content alongside your initial information target -- that means more relevant content at your fingertips. In addition, content will be surfaced based upon your interest and past Healio.com web activity.

A commitment to educate

For decades, The Wyanoke Group has been committed to providing an exceptional educational experience for you. The Education Lab has been fully redesigned. CME and educational activities from multiple sources are organized by specialty and dynamic have features to further enhance your learning experience within the Education Lab and help you improve patient care.

Design upgrade, faster speed

And finally, we improved the page design – making it simple and easy to find what you are looking for – and greatly improved the navigation so you can step beyond your initial information search should you desire. And you’ll notice the site is fast.
