LAS VEGAS — DigiSight Technologies Inc. announced the launch of its new suite of products for remote patient care, Paxos, at the Ophthalmology Innovation Summit here.

The Paxos comprehensive portfolio consists of an HIPAA-compliant cloud-based portal, mobile imaging device, vision assessment smartphone application and analytics that assist physicians in monitoring patient data in real time and assessing patient outcomes, according to a company press release.

“Paxos enables physicians to monitor changes in their patients’ vision on a daily basis, which holds enormous potential for detecting disease progression that may require treatment. This technology also provides an important source of data for companies investigating new treatments in clinical trials,” Philip J. Rosenfeld, MD, PhD, of Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, said in the release.
