SAN DIEGO — Ellex announced the launch of its multicolor scanning photocoagulator Integre Pro Scan at the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery meeting.

The device combines multicolor photocoagulation and pattern scanning in one laser/slit lamp design to provide a number of wavelength configurations, the announcement said.

“For me, the standout feature is the ability to control patterns and power without having to take my hand off the joystick,” Dimitri Yellachich, MBBS, FRANZCO, a developer of the Integre Pro Scan, said in the release. “This takes multi-spot laser technology to a whole new level.”

Integre Pro Scan also incorporates achromatic doublet lens technology and delivers a pattern of up to 25 laser shots in 0.5 second, the announcement said.
