Iridex debuts Total Glaucoma Solution

SAN DIEGO — Iridex announced the U.S. debut of its Total Glaucoma Solution, a combination of the IQ 532 laser and new Cyclo G6 system, here at the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery annual meeting.

“The recent introduction of the Cyclo C6 system and its family of disposable probes combined with the versatile IQ 532 laser for MicroPulse laser trabeculoplasty, together represent a more complete solution for comprehensive and specialty glaucoma practices,” the announcement said.

Iridex President and CEO Will Moore said in the announcement that the system offers a “durable, cost-effective solution to bridge the gap” between costly glaucoma medications that result in poor patient compliance and invasive surgery with its higher risk profile.
