CHICAGO — Iridex will showcase an expansion of its patented Adjustable and Intuitive Extended-Reach laser probes here at the American Academy of Ophthalmology meeting, according to company press release.

The Adjustable and Intuitive Extended-Reach (A&I XR) probes are used for laser photocoagulation during vitreoretinal procedures. The probes feature both straight and angled configurations, and are offered in 20-, 23- and 25-gauge sizes with the option of finger or thumb actuators, according to the release.

“Our new devices further enhance our robust line of premium laser probes and amplifies our efforts to quickly design and launch consumable products to further grow our procedural-based recurring revenues,” Will Moore, Iridex president and CEO, said in the release.
