BLOG: To collaborate or not: This is the question
The proverb, “Two heads are better than one,” was attributed to John Heywood, an Englishman, when it was first recorded in the 1500s, but the origin of the phrase may well date back to a time before 1500. No doubt, many of us have heard it used in a variety of contexts and environments in today’s world.
This quote implies that two people who work together may be able to accomplish more. However, at times in our personal and professional lives, we don’t always remember to use collaboration effectively. Perhaps this is because we don’t perceive the value of collaboration, or perhaps we may not understand how to behave in ways that foster constructive collaboration.
