Topcon Medical Systems has announced the launch of the KR-800S, an auto refractor with glare testing, according to a company press release.

The KR-800S incorporates existing rotary prism technology and adds subjective visual tests, including a visual acuity test, a contrast sensitivity test, a grid test and a glare test, according to the release.

The company also announced the launch of Topcon's Online University, an interactive product training module for its CV-5000S Automated Vision tester, consisting of narrated videos, graphics and step-by-step instructions.
