OD-OS has gained marketing authorization for its Navilas laser system from the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency in Japan, according to a company press release.

Ellex Japan, Osaka, will be the marketing authorization holder and exclusive distributor for the Navilas in Japan, the release said.

The Navilas laser system integrates a retinal photocoagulator with a digital fundus camera, and is designed for retinal imaging and for diagnosis and treatment of ocular pathologies in the posterior eye, according to the release.
