Hawaiian Eye, Retina 2014 clinical topics continue on Wednesday

KOLOA, Hawaii –The Hawaiian Eye Comprehensive Ophthalmology program turns to glaucoma on Wednesday with moderator Joel S. Schuman, MD, FACS, Director of UPMC Eye Center​.

Retina will feature “Diabetic Retinopathy: Evolution of the Treatment Paradigm Continues” with moderator Michael S. Ip, MD; andPosterior Segment Uveitis: Diagnosis and Management” with moderator Jay S. Duker, MD.

It is “Operations Day” for the Administrator Program moderated by Tracy J. Kenniff, MBA, OCS.Shareef Mahdavi will follow Kenniff with “New Options in Private Pay Medicine for Your Practice.” The Nurse and Allied Health Program will focus on retina moderated by Jane T. Shuman, COT, COE, OCS.

All programs start at 7:30 a.m.

If you are onsite on Kauai, don’t forget the CME Seminar Breakfast (6:30 a.m.) for comprehensive and a CME Seminar Breakfast for retina (6:30 a.m.); the CME Seminar Lunch for comprehensive (12:45 p.m.) and CME Seminar Lunch for retina (12:45 p.m.); Workshops (2 p.m.) and Banyan Tree Sessions (5:00 p.m.).
