Ocular Surgery News will be live blogging from the Ophthalmology Innovation Summit on Thursday in New Orleans before the American Academy of Ophthalmology meeting. Go to healio.com/ophthalmology to find out information on key presentations and speakers throughout the day.

The meeting will feature 34 speakers and more than 40 presentations and panel discussions from leading voices in the ophthalmic industry, venture capital firms and ophthalmology. The meeting will also feature a medical device and pharmaceutical company showcase, a keynote address from Allergan Chairman of the Board and CEO David E.I. Pyott, and presentations from David W. Parke II, MD, executive vice president and CEO of the AAO, and Paul Sieving, MD, director of the National Eye Institute.
