Iridex reported $9.5 million in revenues for the third quarter, a 21% increase from $7.9 million reported in the third quarter of 2012, according to a press release.
Operating income was $0.7 million for the third quarter, compared with last year’s third-quarter operating loss of $0.6 million.
Quarterly net income from continuing operations was $0.5 million, or $0.05 per diluted share, compared with a net loss of $0.6 million, or $0.06 per diluted share, a year ago.
Iridex projects a revenue between $10.2 million and $10.5 million for the fourth quarter, representing growth of between 11% and 14% over the fourth quarter 2012. Operating expenses are expected to be between $4.4 million and $4.6 million, and an operating income is anticipated.
