Allergan reported net earnings of $1.1 billion in 2012, up from $934.5 million in 2011, according to a company news release.

For the 3 months ended Dec. 31, the company reported net earnings of $324.2 million, up from $279.8 million in the same quarter of the previous year.

Revenues were $5.8 billion in 2012, up from $5.4 billion in 2011. Net sales in 2013 are projected to be between $5.9 billion and $6.2 billion, including net sales of $630 million to $660 million for Lumigan (bimatoprost ophthalmic solution).

The Lumigan franchise had net sales of $622.6 million in 2012 compared with $612.7 million in 2011. Sales of all glaucoma products were $1.09 billion in 2012 compared with $1.04 billion in 2011, according to the release.
