Do you perform surgical procedures in an ASC?

Yes, I perform all surgical procedures in an ASC. In this current health care crisis, realize that the ASCs are part of the solution because they provide surgical services more efficiently and more cost effectively. From a physician’s point of view, the ASCs are timely because technological advances have allowed procedures that are minimally invasive and efficient. The marriage of these two issues, in my opinion, make ASCs a timely consideration.
Additionally, a well-run ASC provides an excellent investment as long as it is managed with the proper mission goal, which is that patient care comes first and profitability comes second. At this point in time, ASCs hit the trifecta of providing the most efficient, most cost-effective care to patients, while being an excellent investment for physicians.
