JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Vistakon will begin making its Acuvue Oasys with Hydraclear Plus contact lenses available with an 8.8-mm base curve beginning on Jan. 2, the company announced in a press release.

As with Vistakon's Acuvue Oasys 8.4-mm lens, the new lens size will be available in powers ranging from –12 D to +8 D for both diagnostic and prescription lenses. The lenses can also be worn continuously for up to 6 nights and 7 days and is approved for therapeutic use as a bandage contact lens for some acute and chronic ocular conditions, the release said.
