JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Vistakon has launched a new customer development group to handle its growing customer base of eye care professionals, the company announced in a press release.

The group will develop and implement programs aimed at professional and practice development, as well as "make it more efficient for customers to do business with Vistakon," the release said.

"The Customer Development Group is responsible for making sure that we are responding to customer needs, monitoring and addressing customer feedback, and being flexible in offering customized products and service to our customers," said Pat Cumming, OD, in the release.

Dr. Cumming is former vice president of professional affairs at Vistakon and has been appointed vice president of the new group.
