Topcon introduces new EyeRoute image management suite

SAN FRANCISCO — Topcon Medical Systems previewed the latest version of its EyeRoute image management suite here.

The new, comprehensive Eye Route suite enables users to interface with other Topcon and non-Topcon devices through desktop, Web and iPhone modalities.

The suite includes the new EyeRoute O.R. module for direct digital video recording/sharing, as well as the EyeRoute mobile, 3-G-compatible iPhone application for analyzing data and dictating notes, according to press briefings issued here at the joint meeting of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and Pan-American Association of Ophthalmology.

Topcon also previewed its new 3D OCT-2000 with a high-resolution, non-mydriatic fundus camera, its new iTrace optical analyzer, available in "combo" and "solo" versions for determining visual aberrations, as well as its TRC-NW7SF MK II retinal fundus imaging system with mydriatic and non-mydriatic capabilities.

In addition, Topcon showcased its PC-free, Wi-Fi-equipped CA-200 corneal analyzer and MicroSlit illuminator, which is intended for use with the company's OMS-800 microscope for optimized viewing of the host-graft interface during DSAEK procedures.

The products, all of which have been cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, are available for sale in the United States.
