TORONTO — TLC Vision reported increases in laser procedure volumes and net revenues for the 4-month period ended Sept. 30.

This marks the first full period of combined operating results for TLC Vision since it was created via the merger in May of TLC Laser Eye Centers and Laser Vision Centers.

Paid laser procedure volumes totaled more than 57,000, and total net revenues were $59.4 million. For the same 4-month period in 2001, paid laser procedure volumes were 28,700 and total net revenues were $43.3 million. Revenues from other health care services generated 22% of total net revenues compared with 11.2% in the same 4-month period a year ago.

Results for the prior year's period do not include the operations of Laser Vision Centers.
