CASTLEFORD, England — Teva Pharmaceutical subsidiary Teva UK has launched a generic version of Cosopt, Teva Pharmaceutical announced in a press release.

Cosopt (dorzolamide/timolol 20 mg/5 mg/mL ophthalmic solution, Merck) is indicated for treating elevated IOP among patients with open-angle glaucoma or pseudoexfoliative glaucoma who do not respond to topical beta-blocker monotherapy, the release said.

"We are pleased to add this product to our ever-expanding product portfolio — the widest of any U.K. generics supplier," Kim Innes, commercial director for Teva UK, said in the release.

Teva UK's generic version of the drug is now available.
