TearLab Corporation and AMO Canada, a subsidiary of Abbott Medical Optics, have entered into a cooperative marketing agreement, the companies announced in a press release.

Under the agreement, AMO Canada will sell the TearLab Osmolarity System and TearLab will promote AMO Canada's dry eye products, including Blink Moisturizing Eye Drops. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed, according to the release.

The TearLab Osmolarity System measures the osmolarity of tears to help diagnosis dry eye disease. The lab-on-a-chip design requires only 50 nL of liquid and displays results in less than 30 seconds, the release said.
