ALISO VIEJO, Calif. — Bausch + Lomb subsidiary Storz Ophthalmic Instruments has announced the U.S. release of its Tru-Size diamond knife.

The diamond blade, which measures 1.75 mm from tip to shoulder, features an asymmetrical edge for precise corneal incisions and is now offered in a 1.8-mm to 2.2-mm trapezoidal design for performing microincision cataract surgery, according to a press release from Storz Ophthalmic.

In addition, the diamond blade is engraved with incision widths for increased accuracy, according to the release.
