BOSTON — Solx Inc. has initiated an international training program to certify ophthalmologists in Europe and the Middle East in use of the company's Gold Micro-Shunt for glaucoma, the company announced.

The program was officially launched with an educational symposium held before the American Academy of Ophthalmology meeting in Las Vegas. Additional training sessions will be offered internationally; a list of locations can be seen at the company's Web site, www.solx.com.
