EAST SUSSEX, England The C-flex injectable acrylic IOL system has been granted Australian regulatory approval, lens developer and marketer Rayner said in a press release.
According to Rayner executives, the C-flex lens is the first European IOL to receive Australian regulatory approval in more than a decade. The C-flex injectable acrylic IOL also has anti-vaulting haptic technology as well as an enhanced square edge, designed to reduce the risk of posterior capsular opacification, according to company statements.
