MARLBOROUGH, Mass. — Optos recently released its Panoramic200 application software program, Optos V2 application software, according to a company press release.

V2 is an upgrade for the existing Panoramic200 and includes new review, capture, storage and administrator applications. The Panoramic200 allows eye care professionals to capture up to 200 degrees of the retina with the Optomap Retinal exam.

The Optomap Retinal exam uses low powered lasers and does not require dilation, which results in early detection of ocular conditions that may lead to sight loss.

“Optomap is unique, and so is Optos’ business model, which provides a continuous stream of value added product improvements to our customers,” said Ian Stevens, general manager, Optos North America in a company press release.
