Optos launches scanning laser ophthalmoscope, software enhancements

LONDON — Optos has introduced new retinal imaging technologies, according to a press release from the company.

The 200 Dx scanning laser ophthalmoscope offers enhanced image quality, laser focus and retinal nerve fiber layer polarization, as well as improved patient interface, and improved brightness and field illumination, the release said.

The company's V2 Vantage Pro software enhancements include historical image overlay capabilities, as well as the ability to e-mail 3-D wrap images.
