SANTA CLARA, Calif. — OptiMedica has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with Topcon Medical Japan, a subsidiary of Topcon Corp., according to a joint press release from the companies.

Under the terms of the agreement, Topcon Medical Japan will own exclusive local distribution rights for OptiMedica's PASCAL photocoagulator system.

OptiMedica's PASCAL photocoagulator system is currently distributed in Europe by Topcon Europe Medical, another Topcon subsidiary, the release said.
