SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Net revenue for Ophthalmic Imaging Systems totaled $7.8 million for the first half of 2007, up slightly from the $7.5 million in net revenue for the same period last year, the company announced in a press release.

Net income for the first 6 months of 2007 totaled $1.1 million, or $0.06 per diluted share.

For the second quarter, the company reported net revenue of $3.6 million, down slightly from $3.8 million in net revenue for the same period last year. Net income totaled $500,000 for the quarter, or $0.03 per diluted share, according to the release.

Ophthalmic Imaging Systems also reported that total shareholder equity was $9.4 million as of June 30, compared with $8.2 million as of Dec. 31, 2006.
