NEW ORLEANS — Oertli announced its new "Good Light" light source is being incorporated into its NovitreX3000 vitreoretinal extension unit of the OS3 surgical platform, according to a press release distributed here at the American Academy of Ophthalmology meeting.

The Good Light uses two independent light sources with individual control of the brightness of each. Disposable light instruments can be used in 20-, 23- and 25-gauge sizes, while the 20-gauge size offers a reusable autoclavable light source.

The Good Light offers "a safe light with excellent visibility in a small package at an affordable price," the release said.
