NEW ORLEANS — The interactive educational Web site, Ophthalmic Hyperguide, will be demonstrated at booth #3812, here at the 2001 Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Ophthalmology held November 11-14.

This free online program offers ophthalmic professionals the opportunity to earn continuing medical education credits and get clincial updates that are useful in daily practice. Once registered, users can access the information at their convenience, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Ophthalmic Hyperguide is maintained under the direction of Chief Medical Editor, Carmen A. Puliafito, MD, MBA, and a faculty of expert editors in all ophthalmic subspecialties.

The live demonstration will showcase features of the Ophthalmic Hyperguide's 10 subspecialty modules including tutorials, online lectures with streaming audio, and self-assessment questions. Free user IDs and registration packets will be made available to visitors.

To get your free user ID and password, call SLACK Incorporated at 1-800-257-8290 or 856-848-1000 (in NJ or outside the U.S.).
