Iridex increases revenue by 13% in 2005

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. — Iridex reported full year 2005 revenue of $37 million, up 13% from full year 2004 results, the company said in a press release.

Ophthalmology sales increased 11% during the year, to $30.7 million, while dermatology sales remained stable at $1.5 million in 2005 and 2004, the company said.

Domestic sales grew 14% during 2005 to $22.7 million. The company reported its international sales in U.S. currency, eliminating foreign currency fluctuations. Overall, international sales increased 11% to $14.3 million compared with 2004 sales, the company said.
