IRVINE, Calif. — IntraLase reported revenue of $94.4 million for 2005, with 338,000 procedures performed during the year.

In 2005, 156 lasers were sold or leased, an increase of 41% from the 111 sold or leased in 2004, the company said in a press release. Total procedures in 2005 increased 76% from 2004, the company said.

IntraLase also announced that it has entered into an agreement with TLC Vision Corp. that includes “a laser commitment across all of [TLC’s] refractive service models over the next 2 years.”

The femtosecond laser has also now been used to perform corneal transplants, the company said in a separate release, and a fall launch for this application is expected.
