IntraLase receives 5-year contract from Dept. of Defense

IRVINE, Calif. — The U.S. Department of Defense has awarded IntraLase a 5-year contract for IntraLase FS femtosecond lasers, procedures, maintenance and support for the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies, the company announced.

The contract, valued at up to $45 million, carries the possibility of five additional 1-year options, according to a press release from IntraLase.
