BUFFALO GROVE, Ill. — The Food and Drug Administration granted marketing approval to Akorn for its solution of brimonidine tartrate for the treatment of glaucoma. The active ingredient is also found in Allergan’s Alphagan line.
Akorn noted this is its first product approval since a manufacturing facility inspection in 2005 was successful.
